The Best Of Mallorca – Sophie’s Holiday

We all look forward to putting that out of office on and enjoying some time for rest and relaxation. Whether it’s a vacation or a staycation it is important to take the opportunity to relax and unwind.

This summer my travels took me to the beautiful Spanish Island of Mallorca. A week of sun, sea and Sangria! This beautiful island is full of constant inspiration and breath taking scenery. Staying in the traditional and unspoilt fishing town of Porto Colom offered an authentic Spanish setting. The crystal clear waters and golden sands are a slice of Paradise.

Mallorca is an idyllic setting with an abundance of colour and creative inspiration. With blossoming wild flowers around every corner, set back on charming and enchanting architecture. The fuchsia pink jewel tones compliment and contrast against the crisp white hues of buildings. From morning through to night dreamy colours explode from every direction. Evenings were spent watching picturesque sunsets shine over the S’Arenal bay. Stunning tones and hues were cast over the bobbing boats in aquamarine waters.

The nearby town of Cala D’or offers a host of delicious restaurants perfect for those wanting to sample traditional Paella and Tapas. My holiday packing essential was the Lace Back Top, perfect for transitioning effortlessly from beach to bar. The lightweight silk crepe de chine is faultless for keeping cool in those high temperatures. The open back offers understated elegance and is my favourite choice for an evening ensemble. Paired with denim shorts it offers a laid-back lux style for a night out tasting the delicious cuisine.

Soak up the sun and unwind your mind.
